Mora Municipal Airport (JMR)
The Municipal Airport is located approximately two miles northeast of downtown Mora just off Minnesota Trunk Highway 23 and adjacent to the city’s industrial park. Owned and operated by the city, the airport features a recently improved and expanded 4,800 foot paved primary runway and paved parallel taxiway. Plans for a new turf runway are completed with construction anticipated in the next few years as funds become available.There are currently 17 hangars at the airport. Private hangar spaces are available. About 45 aircraft are based at the airport. Over 24,000 operations (take offs and landings) occur at the airport each year. The airport was originally constructed in 1945 and expanded in 1950, 1964, 1983, and 2007 and now covers over 400 acres. SERVICES The airport features a 24/7 unattended arrival/departure building, self service 100LL and Jet A fuel, tie-downs, and hangar space. Building sites for hangars and aviation related businesses are available.
